Wander around the island to various look out points, and spot the Nankeen Kestrels hunting lizards, Ospreys diving for their lunch, Sooty and Pied Oyster Catchers walking along the oyster rocks and resident Beach Stone Curlews trying to hide away in the daytime.

Pumpkin is home to plenty of oysters - venture around the rocks and you harvest your own oysters fresh for you to enjoy.

Pumpkin Island measures 450m long and 150m wide, so for a pleasant wander, consider walking around the island to various look out points and explore the coves and coral reefs.

There are several lookout points scattered across the island, all perfect for relaxing and taking in the view or having a picnic, spotting marine-life, yoga & pilates or simply soaking up nature.
