Eco Friendly

All power is provided by wind or solar power; therefore 240V appliances will not operate on Pumpkin Island. Our freshly filtered rainwater is pure and drinkable. Both power and water is precious, please support us with keeping the environment clean by lowering your power and water consumption.

Facilities

The elevated entertainment deck is centrally located and features tables with seating where guests can socialise or relax. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the exquisite 360 degree views, which is great when catching both the sunrise and sunset.

For those who prefer beach level why not try our island style thatch roof area overlooking the main beach and Yeppoon. Open sides, comfortable seating and bar provide guests the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning ocean, reef and sunset views.

What to Pack

On Pumpkin Island you will need to bring your own esky/cooler box filled with your favourite provisions and supplies for the duration of your stay.  Pumpkin Island has no shops, although Pumpkin Island shirts and caps can be purchased on the island, all other necessities could be purchased in Yeppoon.

Pack to relax on Pumpkin Island:

• Swimwear and beach towels
• Suitable footwear for sand, rock and bushwalking
• Snorkelling gear
• Fishing gear
• Toys for the kids (and adults) – pool noodle, lilo, balls, floating chair, hammocks, swing ball, volleyball, kites, frisbee, etc.
• Hats, sunscreen and sunglasses
• All food, drinks, ice and esky (drinking water optional)
• Games/activities for the kids (and adults), books, magazines, cards, etc
