Getting to Yeppoon
Yeppoon is 42km north east of Rockhampton situated on the beautiful Capricorn Coast.
Little Johnny's Tours provide a convenient transfer option from Rockhampton Airport to Yeppoon’s Keppel Bay Marina. Alternatively rental cars or taxi services are on hand from Rockhampton Airport.

Getting to Pumpkin Island

All aboard the Pumpkin Xpress
Launched in October 2006 the Pumpkin Xpress gets you to the island with less hassle and more fun for a small fee of $45 per adult one way and $25 per child (12 years & younger) one way. Holding up to 20 passengers, the Pumpkin Xpress takes around 45 minutes to reach the island.
Pick up from Keppel Bay Marina (from the red wharf to the right of the restaurant) is at 9am on day of departure.

Transfers from Pumpkin Xpress ashore are undertaken by way of our transfer vessel. To assist in maintaining the pristine eco friendly environment, Pumpkin Island has no jetty facilities, so getting your feet wet will be part of the experience. As an alternative, there is the option of cruising your own yacht or boat directly to the island. Feel free to discuss with or ask our Pumpkin Island team for anchorage advice. Passengers of the Pumpkin Xpress may also tow their own tinnie to the island for a small fee of $75 one way.
